Admissions
Dronfield Junior School is a three form entry junior school educating children from the ages of 7 to 11 (Key Stage 2). To apply for a place at Dronfield Junior School all applications should be made to Derbyshire County Council.
School places are allocated by Derbyshire County Council in accordance with its Admissions Policy.

Please note that even if your child currently attends Dronfield Infant School, you should still apply for a place at Dronfield Junior School.

If your child is due to start junior education and you live in Derbyshire you should apply to Derbyshire County Council even if the school you want is located in the area of another council.
If you live outside Derbyshire (or in Derby) you should apply through your home council even if you want to apply for a place at a Derbyshire school.
